Union Square Events manages a number of hospitality offerings from USHG at the Mets’ Citi Field ballpark in Queens, including satellite concessions for Blue Smoke, Shake Shack, El Verano Taquería and Box Frites. Our team also consults on the in-seat service in the Delta Sky 360 Club for 1,600 premium ticketholders behind home plate.

Saratoga Race Course

Union Square Events and The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) have formed a multi-year partnership to create a unique culinary experience at historic Saratoga Race Course. Union Square Events will operate a Shake Shack and Blue Smoke in close proximity to the paddock saddling area. In addition, Union Square Events will design, construct and operate The Paddock Bar, serving exciting specialty cocktails, beer and wine.

Thoroughbred racing has no finer setting than Saratoga Race Course, named by Sports Illustrated as one of the Top Ten Sports Venues of the 20th Century. On Friday, July 23, the gates will open at Saratoga for a 40-day race meet that will conclude on Labor Day, Monday, September 6. Among the many highlights, guests will enjoy pulled pork sandwiches and Kansas City spareribs at Blue Smoke, ShackBurgers, hot dogs and frozen custard at Shake Shack and a collection of innovative and classic cocktails, beer and wine at The Paddock Bar.

Union Square Events hit a home run with the 2008 Major League Baseball All-Star Pre-Game Bash for 5,000 VIP guests on Randall’s Island.

Veuve Clicquot Polo Championship

Union Square Events was selected as the food and beverage provider for the prestigious Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Governors Island. On June 27th, 2010, thousands of fashionable attendees from around the globe will attend this highly anticipated polo match benefitting Prince Harry’s charity, Friends of Senetable. USHG Culinary Director Michael Romano will create special menus for both the VIP Marquee and Ticketed Picnic spaces. In addition, the area open to the general public will feature Blue Smoke and Floyd Cardoz’s El Verano Taquería, marking the first time El Verano’s menu is outside of its home at Citi Field ballpark.
