Director of Operations, B&I
As Director of Operations for B&I, Nelson Morales oversees all corporate B&I accounts for Union Square Events. He draws on his 35 years of experience as a visionary food service specialist in the hospitality industry to develop innovative solutions for our clients. Before joining our team, Nelson received a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and began his career in foodservice at Restaurant Associates, a subsidiary of Compass Group. He then transitioned to corporate services where he served as Regional Director and Vice President, for 24 years. In 2011 he joined Sodexo as District Manager where he managed clients in the New York Metro Area.
When not at work, Nelson is a CCAP-Mentor for High School Culinary Students and lives in North Jersey with his wife, Cindy, and their two dogs, Sammie the German Shepherd and Empanada the Chihuahua.
