Luis moved to New York City in 2008 and began his hospitality career at a popular SoHo restaurant working as a maître d'. After several years managing front of house operations, Luis joined Union Square Hospitality Group at Untitled at The Whitney. While working there, he found a passion for events and catering operations and moved on to oversee the catering program at The Cafés at MoMA. When he’s not at work, Luis spends his time with his partner and hand embroidering.
