In addition to Union Square Events' large-scale event services, we offer food service solutions for public and private institutions, industry consulting, and educational programming and partnerships.
A Legacy of Enlightened Hospitality
In 1985, Danny Meyer opened his first restaurant, Union Square Cafe, launching what would become a lifelong career in hospitality. 21 years later, after launching some of New York’s most beloved and acclaimed restaurants, Union Square Events was born. Danny’s groundbreaking business book and New York Times Bestseller, Setting the Table, articulates a set of signature business and life principles that live on at Union Square Events today.
Enlightened Hospitality, the key guiding principle of building an employee-first culture, has shaped USE’s ongoing evolution from an events business into a multi-faceted hospitality organization. Since inception, USE’s diverse ventures have added to the hospitality dialogue in many contexts including sports arenas, cultural venues, and private dining.
