Director of Operations

As Director of Operations, Max oversees multiple operational aspects for Union Square Events. Before joining the team, Max received a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University. During his time in college, he took on multiple operational roles at The Langham Boston, Foxwoods and The Boston Harbor Hotel. Upon graduating, Max continued his career at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York as a Food & Beverage Manager before pivoting into Banquets and Events. Max then worked at the Crowne Plaza Times Square and The Plaza as a Senior Banquet Leader before joining USE as Director of Banquets at The Conrad Downtown. During his tenure, Max was able to build and lead a team turning the Conrad New York Downtown into a premier event destination in NYC. Max then continued his time at The Conrad where he served as the Director of Food & Beverage, overseeing multiple outlets, including the famous Loopy Doopy Bar.  After 7 years at The Conrad, Max joined the team at Convene where he was the opening General Manager of their flagship event space at 225 Liberty in Downtown Manhattan.  Max lives on Long Island with his wife and young daughter.
